Lauren Thomas, a member of the Pagosa Springs High School Class of 2008, graduated from the Army’s 1st Battalion, 31st Field Artillery Basic Combat Training on April 5, 2013, at Fort Still, Okla. Lauren was presented with the First Lieutenant John Robert Fox Award. This award is presented to the individual who best displays the Army Value of Selfless Service.
