American Legion Mullins-Nickerson Post 108 Commander Ed Robinson (left) welcomes two new Legionnaires. Doug Roberts (center) saw enlisted service in the U.S. Army 1973-1977 as an infantryman. He received advanced training at Army airborne, ranger and sniper schools. He had the rare duty of serving with the Caisson Platoon of the 3rd Infantry Regiment “The Old Guard” at Ft. Myer, Va.
George Love (right) was inducted into the U.S. Marine Corps in 1967 and underwent infantry training at Camp Pendleton, Calif. He received advanced training in avionics at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Fla., and saw duty with Marine aviation units stateside and in Okinawa, Japan.
