As she walks to and from businesses uptown, the sparkle of her pink, sequined shoes and pink baseball cap may catch your eye in the bright Pagosa sun. This Pine Ridge resident honors all of us through the way she lives her life. She makes life happen and doesn’t just let it happen. Happy 94th birthday to you, Jerry McGee, and thank you for reminding us all that life is what we make of it.
