Special to The PREVIEW
Attention parents: need some shopping time during the holidays?
Drop off your little elves at the Holiday Hands-On Arts Camp at Pagosa Springs Elementary School on Saturday, Dec. 20, and Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 22-24, where they can create beautiful handmade Christmas crafts and gifts.
Mornings with Lisa
Mornings with Lisa will offer the following crafts: Mexican tin punch candle holder, Christmas ornaments, wreath-making, handmade paper casts, faux stained glass candle holder, beaded star sun catcher and elf puppets.
Afternoons with Tessie
Afternoons with Tessie will offer both art and cooking: Students will be glazing a ceramic plate and will also be making Christmas goodies to fill the plates to take home to share. Students will also make other crafts for the season.
The classes will be held in the Pagosa Springs Elementary School art room. This program is for first-grade through sixth-grade students.
Full days are 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and are $40 per day. The one-time lab fee is $15.
Early registration is encouraged. The class is limited to 15 students per day. Daily drop-off is dependent on space available and is first-come, first-served. Print out a registration form from our Web page, www.hands-on-artscamp.com.
