The third annual Western Slope Rodeo Royalty Clinic is being held Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Glenwood Springs Branch Library from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The royalty clinic will cover topics of etiquette, interview skills, speech and public speaking, appearance, rodeo knowledge, horsemanship and safety. Marie Kidd, Miss Rodeo Colorado Lady-In-Waiting 2015, is one of the featured presenters.
Participants must be at least 10 years old and do not have to currently hold a royalty title. The cost is $40 each and lunch is included. Parents and coordinators are encouraged to participate and the fee is $30 each. Registration must be received by Oct. 24 by contacting Lyndsay Jo Smith at (970) 222-7231 or polochic17@hotmail.com.
