Chris Nobles, 2005 Pagosa Springs High School graduate, earned his Ph.D. in molecular virology and microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston on May 27.
While a graduate student, Chris received the prestigious Kelly K. Woodard Award for outstanding achievement in scientific scholarship, research and leadership. He also served as president of the Graduate Student Council in 2013. Chris completed his undergraduate studies in chemical and biochemical engineering at Colorado School of Mines. His proud parents are Bill and Cindy Nobles, previously of Pagosa Springs, now living in Pueblo West.
